Who We Are - FurEvr

Citizen ran 501(c)(3) Corsicana Animal Shelter Fund

Our vision is to create a shelter where every animal has access to quality living spaces and food in a clean environment until they are placed in their forever home. We are investing in the future of our animals and community.

Our Impact

Raising funds for the new facility will greatly impact our community. We will be able to rescue and place more deserving animals in their forever homes. Last year, the shelter/animal control picked up 478 animals in the city, 97 animals surrendered by owners, 267 strays, 47 were born in the shelter, 95 rescued from the county and released back to owners, 147 strays in the county, 450 rescued  and 640 animals adopted. With a facility double the size we will be able to make a much larger impact on our community.

New facility will have an outdoor play area, grooming station, surgical suite, bonding room, dry food storage, isolation chambers, cat condo, cat habitat and kennels for the dogs.
